Green Crayon...

Describe your best or worst Halloween costume ever. Use lots of details and explain why it was so awesome or lame.

Well one year i went to my grandmas house for Halloween. It was Halloween night and there was a party that was going on. I did not have a costume so my brother and sister dressed me up as a crayon...it was pretty awesome!
They took green paper and wrapped me up in it. And then made a green pointy hat for the top of the crayon. It was kinda hard to walk in but i had the coolest costume that year. I don't care what anyone says that crayon costume was the best!
After being all wrapped up we headed to the party. It was so fun. I was about 4ish then and i still remember that awesome crayon costume...

TOP TEN

I have read Breaking Dawn. Well at least the first couple of chapters...what i thought of this book was: it was alright but it did not interest me that much to actually read the whole entire book. So i ended it.
I believe it was in the Top Ten because a lot of people either have horrid taste in books or they are homely and want to be a vampire girl to be with Edward. Who actually is not the best looking...at all. Or they just really like Vampires.
I disagree with the Top Ten. Because i have never read or heard of any of those books except for Breaking Dawn. And i like War books. Because i like to actually learn something out of my books unlike Twilight and the others.

POE

it seems like reading Edgar Allan Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" and stories like "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Pit and the Pendulum", etc.
If you have read Poe stories before, which ones have you read and what do you remember of them? Did you like them? How scary/creepy were they? Share your memories of you or teachers reading the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
If you have not read Poe or don't remember, describe to me what you expect from a classic horror writer? What kinds of stories do you think we'll be reading? Have you ever read scary stories?
Yes i do remember reading on of his works. It was The Cask of Amontillado. It was in 6Th grade around this time of year. And our teacher decided to read us this book. It was scary and intense!
After reading it we got to watch a movie on it. It was interesting. We got popcorn too! It was pretty fantastic. And remarkable.
I would give it a A- because there were some boring parts and as i said there were some intense parts! Poe is a very creative guy! And interesting i don't know how he came up with things like that! So Gruesome and violent. I have a friend whose name i can not tell so i will give her a nick name. Dino, She is very scared about this. She does not like violence does not want to hear any of his stories! I dont blame her. But she is kinda over the edge on this one! But she is so funny i think she will be ok she will just have to plug her ears. And she will get through this.
